Participants are matched up with same gender roommates and stay in the dorms at the University.
While at the program, participants will be broken into groups. Each group will be led by a team leader: an experienced, responsible young adult who has already proven their knowledge of Eagle U principles by living them. In addition, Executive Director and program staff will be housed in the same dormitory building as the students.
The participants have daily scheduled free time to relax, spend time with their new friends or play sports.
Participants are provided three meals per day in the University cafeteria. They are welcome to bring snacks to keep in their dorm but will not be permitted to eat them during sessions.
We can arrange with the University cafeteria to accommodate any special dietary needs.
Eagle U’s staff physician, Dr. Jeffrey Anderson, will be on site for the duration of the program to address any medical concerns, questions or issues. If necessary, non-emergent, sick or injured individuals will be transported to the University Health Center. Should there be a medical emergency during the program, the University police coordinates with outside emergency medical services to transport the participant to the nearest hospital.
Should parents or family members have an emergency that they need to reach a participant at the program, they can call the toll free Eagle U phone number day or night 469-844-SOAR.
Packing Suggestions will be emailed to all students prior to the program week.
